Emergency Pantry

Emergency Pantry

Mondays, noon-1pm | at Trinity
Although Trinity’s pantry services have a longer history, our Emergency Pantry was re-launched as a formal ministry program in April of 2018 when Rudy Breland—a member of the pantry task force—devised a questionnaire so that we could meet the needs of our Monday and Saturday lunch guests. To our surprise, the overwhelming need was personal care items and reading glasses. With that information in hand, the emergency pantry was reborn on June 6, 2018.

Personal care items as well as food are available to anyone who needs help to get over a 2-3 day hump when they’re short of funds. See our list below of current needs if you are able to donate. In November of 2018, our pantry expanded its offerings when Margie Richcreek developed an agreement with Main Street Laundry to meet the laundry needs of our guests. Anyone who needs to do laundry can receive vouchers and detergent at no cost to them.
